International Nurses Day 2021

The COVID Crisis has emphasised the integral role nurses play in the delivery of healthcare, often at great personal sacrifice.

Celebrated on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, a pioneer in healthcare, International Nurses Day is a time for us to celebrate the nursing profession and how nurses impact on the lives of patients everyday regardless of the challenges they are facing.

The theme for this year is Nurses: A Voice to Lead – A vision for future healthcare. As a college of Medical Leaders we celebrate this enduring profession and the significant contribution nurses make to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare. RACMA and its Members look forward to continuing our partnership with the nursing profession across Australasia’s various healthcare services.
