Dr Debbie Holdsworth

Dr Holdsworth is currently the Director Funding at Te Whatu Ora, Auckland, Waitemata and Counties. A Fellow since 2015, she has been actively involved in the College as a Supervisor and Jurisdictional Coordinator of Training. Dr Holdsworth brings over 15 years’ experience in corporate governance as a director with various private healthcare organisations. Her 10 years’ experience as a senior executive for two of the largest New Zealand District Health Boards, and as lead executive for two statutory committees of both Boards, has required close working with Board members on a range of governance issues. Dr Holdsworth’s role also provides significant experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders including manawhenua and mātāwaka.
